Joyce & Bittner Help 43-Year-Old Man Finally Driver Legally
Joyce & Bittner was retained by the wife of a 43-year-old man who had never had a driver’s license. After having his privilege to drive suspended because of a non-driving related drug offense (many people are unaware that some non-driving related cases such as drug violations will lead to suspension of driving privileges) he then received a series of tickets which made his getting a license seem impossible to him.
Our law firm proceeded to attack all outstanding traffic cases he had and assisted the client in resolving any matters that were closed but he owed money on. Within a relatively short period of time, we had all outstanding cases dismissed in two different courts. The client was then eligible to apply for a learner’s permit and then to get his license! He expressed joy at being able to look for a better job in Pittsburgh where he would not be limited to the unreliable bus service. He did say he felt a little strange having to get a learner’s permit at the age of 43 — but cheered up at the suggestion that he could feel like he was 16 again!
